Same-day Urgent, Next-day Non-urgent Appointments
- Convenient scheduling options
- Can schedule at a certain time or be placed on a first-come-first-serve rotating call-back waitlist. I will call throughout the day until I reach you at a good time. Busy? Don't answer- I will call back later. Available? Answer -we will have a virtual visit right then.
- No more waiting hours for a visit, rushing to make an appointment, or scheduling your entire day around a doctor's visit.
Insurance is Not Required Nor Billed
- I do not bill your insurance, even if you have it.
- I do not provide or take the place of insurance.
- It is recommended you maintain at least catastrophic insurance to cover specialists, potential surgeries, emergency room visits, or major illnesses.
What are the benefits?
- You receive more personalized and higher level of care when you don't have to wait days or even more than a few hours for an answer to a question.
- You speak to the doctor every time, the first time. You don't get funneled through a front desk and then nurses and then finally a doctor.
What are the shortfalls?
- I do not bill Medicaid or Medicare and your monthly subscription cannot be billed by you for reimbursement if you carry these insurances.
- If you carry Medicare or Medicaid, most states require expensive medications, tests and specialist referrals from a Medicaid accepting physician. This can usually be handled by having a doctor that just orders the recommendations of the DPC provider.
- Most people still find using a DPC physician as their primary care provider worth the slight inconvenience because of the convivence and high level of care they receive.
